The application process for college can be daunting when the context is so fraught with the unknown and so many factors are beyond control. We strive to help parents and students cut through the clatter and get a handle on all the uncertainty.

Our goal in the application essay process is to help each student craft an application essay that reveals a distinctive style and personal character. We also enable the student to effectively communicates the unique ways in which he or she will add value to the school community.  

How do we do this? Our experienced and gifted writing coaches will brainstorm ideas with a student to identify potential topics. After a first draft is written, the coach will work with each student to review, edit and provide feedback on rough drafts until both student and coach are satisfied with the final, polished product. If needed, the coach can assist with customizing the essay to fit different application questions.
