Frequently Asked Questions
Why do I need to get my child a TUTOR?
You do not need to get your child a tutor; you may want to get a tutor. Choosing to engage a private tutor, you will ensure your child will learn more and learn faster. A good tutor provides instruction, guidance, enrichment, support, patience, empowerment – in short, many of the same things that we as parents try to provide. Will the tutor have expertise that the average parent does not? Yes. Will the student be more receptive to school-related information and wisdom communicated by a tutor rather than a parent? Our experience has taught us that the answer is "yes." Most importantly, the tutor will support your child in learning how to: focus, work effectively (and hard), think clearly, and solve problems. If these sound like skills you would like your child to possess and sharpen, then choosing to provide a private tutor will clearly set your child on the path to being a resilient, problem solving, and self-assured individual.
